CCRC Monthly Meeting
- 2nd Tuesday each month, meeting starts at 7:00 PM at
Golden Corral, New Bern, NC (Arrive early to eat and tell the
cashier you are attending our meeting. The special meal price
will be collected at the meeting.) July and August meetings
will not be held at Golden Corral.
CCRC Cruise Night - CCRC Cruise-Ins
for 2011 will be held on the third Saturday of each month at
the Bojangles' on Hwy 70 in New Bern. CCRC's
last cruise-in of the 2011 season will be October 15.

26th Annual Shine & Show Open Car and Truck Show -

The 24th Annual Shine and Show - Open
Car and Truck Show was held at Joe Alcoke's Auto Center on March
27th. The day began a little chilly, but turned into a
lovely day. There were about 150 great works of iron art
on display and more spectators than we have seen at a show in
a long time. We shared the day with lots of old friends
and made a lot of new ones as well. This year's turn-out
included many cars we hadn't seen before. It was a wonderful
day, and our warmest thanks to all who turned out to make the
day another great success!!!

The 23nd Annual Shine and Show was held
as scheduled. Again the weather threatened but held up
through the awards ceremony. There were almost 70 great
works of automotive art on display and the spectators loved
it. A great time was had by all.
October 31 - Colonial
Capital Rods and Classics Fall Open Show - Back after a 5 year
hiatus - The show was held at Joe Alcoke's Auto Center.
The weather was good to us and we had a great turnout.
There were over 160 works of automotive art on display.
It was wonderful!!! Thanks to all who turned out to make
the show a resounding success!!!

29 CCRC's 22nd Annual Shine and Show
was held at the River Bend Plantation. Although the day
was cold and blustery the turnout was exceptional and the crowd
warm. We were blessed with 107 entrants and combined with
the club cars we had close to 140 great works of automotive
art on display.

March 31 CCRC's 21st Annual Shine and Show
- at the Twin Rivers Mall, New Bern, NC Colonial
Capital Rods and Classics was most pleased to have this
years Annual Shine and Show sponsored by Joe Alcoke Motors
- Chevrolet, Lincoln, Honda, and Volvo. We thank all of
you for your participation and are proud to announce that thanks
to your attendance there were 140 paid entrants, a new record
for CCRC's Spring Show. Special thanks to Belk's
local management for their support of the show and especially
for the space to display about 170 beautiful works of automotive
art.
